When the Digger attacks one of Mr. Forelli's places, Spider-Man springs into action!
Digger attacks another of Morris Forelli's interests, but Spider-Man is there to stop him. Unfortunately so is a hit crew hired by Forelli to take down Digger for good. The hit crew only covers Digger's escape, while Spider-man discovers a way to take down the zombie Hulk, and tension flares between Spider-Man and the Forelli family.
While Digger stalks Forelli, Peter returns home and contemplates the irony of fighting Digger because of his overt violence but leaving Forelli alone because he commits his crimes in secrecy. Although Peter is anxious to get back on the case, MJ talks him into spending the night with her. Later, Digger attacks Solly's casino. Spidey gets a page and heads to the casino where Digger accuses him of working for Forelli and advises him to quit before Forelli owns him completely. Spidey grapples with Digger until Forelli's gunmen arrive and fill the game creature full of bullets. Digger brings the casino down and flees. Spidey, seeing that Digger was actually hurt in the exchange, takes along a wooden shard covered in green tissue. Later, Spidey confronts Forelli for sending gunmen in and warns him to let him stop Digger his way, or else. Still believing in her father's innocence, Lynne protects him from Spidey but Forelli knows his violent past has come back to haunt him and he's afraid he can't save his daughter from it.
