After his fight with the Pinocchio Robot, Wolverine washes up on the island of Rumika, off the coast of Madripoor. He has no memory of who he is or why he is there.
The people of Rumika accept this stranger into their village, and Wolverine starts to find peace again without his past to haunt him. Little does he know that the people of Rumika have been chosen to protect the Master Form from anyone who would try to take it.
Still there is something in the air, a smell, that is familiar but Wolverine’s can not identify.
