Sandman, one of Earth’s Mightiest? Spider-Man and the Avengers trail an arms shipment after a tip from Sandman. But is the Avengers’ new friend a man to be trusted?
William Baker, the Sandman and now a reserve member of the Avengers. Gets a lead on a mysterious shipment going through the Brooklyn railyards. Spider-man, having just returned from his war with Venom, also checks it out. Spider-man has been feeling alone since he returned. Sandman calls in the Avengers and they break up the mysterious shipment and capture the criminals. Sandman feels underappreciated, however, because Captain America says they no longer take domestic calls after they recieved the new charter. Sandman leaves feeling low and ponders a return to crime. Spider-man has a change of heart and realizes that he has a lot going for him and wiill be fine as long as Mary Jane loves him.
