Inner machinations within the Secret Empire leave the whole operation vulnerable. Punisher remains shaken by the heroes’ battle with Midnight. With the Empire’s highest members struggling for power, will Spider-Man and company exploit a fatal flaw?
Lynn sabotages the Empire's jamming signal and Nova manages to get a message out to Thrasher. Frenchie triangulates the signal and they locate the Empire's HQ. Punisher stays behind as he's too weak from the last fight, while the others fight their way through countless Empire soldiers. Meanwhile, Lynn informs Midnight that she disabled his pain-inducer while they were operating on him and he takes the opportunity to take lead of the Empire. He then fights with the heroes but is damaged in the process and flees. The Empire flees in a ship and when Moon Knight and the others return to the copter, they discover Punisher is missing, assuming he sneaked aboard the Empire's ship.
