Stumbling through the snow, Swamp Thing attempts to rescue a man from a grizzly bear.
The man dies, but not before warning Swamp Thing that horror resides in the nearby town of Perdition.
But in desperate need of shelter and rest, Swamp Thing ends up in Perdition anyway, where he is first met with hostility by the residents, but then welcomed.
But they seem a little too welcoming... is there something they secretly want from him...?
